Congratulations KQ, for another
successful Magic Moments Production!
KQ Wins 2008 Ovation Award for Special Achievement
KQ, director for Magic Moments for the past 18 years,
has won a 2008 Denver Post Ovation Award for special achievement for the
Magic Moments' 25th anniversary production, Stand By Me.
Winners were determined by theater critic John Moore
from among the 159 Colorado productions that opened between Dec. 7, 2007, and
Dec. 7, 2008 and were either reviewed or observed by any of seven Denver Post
representatives. Separate "readers' choice" designees were determined
by an on-line survey that drew 1,292 unique voters.
The 2008 list of eligible performances did not include
special performances, benefits and out-of-town plays also attended by Denver
Post critics.
